6.1.3.1.4. IT R&D Projects

01 has lead and contributed to many important IT R&D projects, starting in the early 70's with pioneering distributed environments for 3D Animation, User immersion, Artificial Intelligence, Knowledge management applications, along with leading edge computer assisted Music composition environments, including research and development with Fujitsu Japan, as well as Bell Core/Bell Labs in the US.

01 was an active member of the international SIMCON consortium with the Canadian National Research Center (CNRC), for simulation and process automation.

01 designed an OSI Transport protocol for Memotec's X25 PADS and switches.

01 designed and developed the DNAOS REMMS technology, with contributions from some of our long time IT R&D partners, including Alethis Software, Galasoft, and CNRC.

6.1.3.1.5. IT Project Management
01 managed and coordinated many important IT development projects, including a Single-Sign-On (SSO) environment for access to on-line applications from the integrated group of Bell Canada (bell.ca) and its affiliates (e.g. Bell Mobility), as well as development projects for Hydro-Quebec, the daily newspaper LeDevoir, Activant (US, CA, UK, DE), ADP (NJ), Tetra Technologies, PSC Controls, Groupe Immaculee-Conception, Softmation, Serbi (France), MSC, the Quebec Government, and others.
