6.4.2. Work Profiles

There are many important work profiles required to develop and support a multidisciplinary project like Cosmos Square. More so, flexibility is a requirement.

The main work roles can be characterized through the following:

  • Architecture: software, system, platform analysis, design, implementation, test, optimization, support, and development
  • Infrastructure: networks, server farms, security, replication, clustering, load-balancing, scalability, availability
  • Design: usability, visuals, audio, streams, multimedia integration, styling, storyboarding, staging, leveling, strategy
  • Authoring: writing, storytelling, markup, translation, support Web sites, documentation, references
  • Integration: integrating, testing, evaluation, benchmarking, review, recommendation, security, support
  • Modeling: core 3D models, knowledge resource 3D models, 3D integrated 2D technical models
  • Animation: model and resource animation, animated tutorials, artifact animation, avatar animation
  • AI-Botics: design, programming, references, content, search, AI, logic, specialization, triggering and activation
  • Hosting: gurus, guides, hosts, orientation, user support, profiling, conflict management and resolution
  • Scientific: search, research, analysis, computation, advice, recommendation, guidance, hosting, support
  • Support: administrative, technical, subscriptions, sponsorships, users, internal, marketing, sales
  • Administration: business, team, infrastructure, relations, financing, equity, external coordination, security
  • Marketing: targeting, partnerships, in-world, in-Web, in-media, public, design, strategy, monitoring, optimization
  • Sales: subscriptions, recruiting, content (active) and support (passive) sponsorships, collaborations

Assuming three main phases:

  • Implementation: The current phase, of which the development stage is the object of the current project (year 1-3)
  • Operation: The ramp-up operation and market development phase (year 3-5)
  • Cruise: The cruising operation phase (year 5+)
