In summary, largely defining and characterizing user experience, key functional aspects of the Cosmos Square project revolve around four main "functional axis":

• The Metaphor axis provides an integrating user and navigation interface
• The Virtual World axis offers both a visualization, modeling as well as a social networking and interaction contexts
• The Knowledge Management axis provides the required knowledge management, including entitlement, privacy, knowledge access tracking, user profiles, system learning, and statistics
• The Operation Support axis defines and provides interactive and remote user support
